It also issues a series of scientific publications, including the European Orthopaedics and Traumatology EOTR journal, book series and IL Instructional Lecture books.EFORT is staging the 13th EFORT Congress in the German capital from 23 to 25 May 2012. It is the most important scientific event at European level for orthopaedists and trauma surgeons. This year, the event will focus on the Decade of Action for Road Safety 20112020 launched by the World Health Organisation WHO and the European Year for Active Ageing. Other highlights will include speeches by two pioneers in the field, as well as a new discussion format featuring debates wherein acknowledged experts defend controversial points of view.
