The free version will continue to receive updates as well.Current limitations:Imagery:The data source I use for the imagery the only free one I could find that works with google maps filters out data that it thinks is not precipitation, so it is not the complete raw radar imagery NOAA provides.GOES imagery is not animated.Visible amp; Water Vapor imagery not working at the moment???Alerts:If alerts are enabled then disabled in the preferences, sometimes alerts will remain enabled until the device is rebooted.
